Heartwood Residential Design + Build is a family-owned, full-service design-build remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Silicon Valley. Built on generations of experience in residential construction, the company was founded on the belief that thoughtful remodeling should improve the way people live in their homes every day through careful planning, craftsmanship, and lasting functionality.
Owners Nick and Michelle Yegge lead Heartwood with a strong focus on communication, organization, and client care throughout the remodeling process. From the initial consultation through design, construction, and project completion, their goal is to create an experience that feels collaborative, thoughtful, and well managed from start to finish.

Working primarily behind the scenes, she focuses on the systems, communication, and organizational structure that support a thoughtful and professional remodeling process from start to finish.
Her work includes guiding the client experience, supporting the long-term operational and financial health of the company, and helping shape Heartwood’s broader vision within the community it serves. With a strong emphasis on professionalism, care, and thoughtful leadership, Michelle helps ensure the company remains grounded, organized, and aligned with the values on which it was built.
