I called Nick to ask him to give me an estimate on assembling some teak patio furniture and a metal gazebo.  He arrived on time and even thought to bring a bag of sand to weigh-down the posts of the gazebo.  His estimate was reasonable and I liked him right away, so I hired him on the spot.  He put the furniture together in expert fashion & in the amount of time he estimated. Since I had family coming for the weekend, he agreed to come back the next day to assemble the gazebo.  He managed it amazingly well despite it really being a two-man job.  When a mishap ensued, he informed me he'd need to buy a part at a hardware store and insisted on deducting the time and material needed to correct the problem.  He completed the gazebo assembly within the estimated time frame once again.  Throughout the time Nick was at my home, he remained extremely courteous & professional. I'll be hiring him again....as soon as I've found my "to-do" list!

Nick responded early to my (Redbeacon) offer to construct 2 waist-high garden boxes, adjusted his quote downward after I gave him more project info, provided several referrals, helped me secure materials, & did a great job in the time alloted at a very fair price. He made improvements in the original garden box design, resulting in a sturdier product, so he is concerned about quality & takes pride in his work. His contracts & demeanor are far more professional than many contractors far beyond his years. If you want a smart, honest, competent pro, give Nick a call. I can't wait to put some dirt & plants in my fine garden boxes without having to kneel or bend. Nick is a Boomer Gardener's friend!

Nick put insulation and new drywall in our garage. He textured drywall in preparation for painting. He also patched and repaired some existing drywall. He installed a new window. He installed a new basin, faucet and plumbing for sink and washer. He installed fluorescent lighting and re-wired electric and moved/added outlets. He also replaced an interior garage door and added weatherstripping.

Nick and his team were very punctual, friendly and most importantly clean and very quality oriented. He took great care to listen to our needs and not try to persuade us to take on more than we wanted. But when we did decide to add another element to the job, Nick was very precise about the additional charge and time it would take to complete. He payed close attention to detail, even returning to touch up an area that he felt was not up to standard, although we thought it was fine. Overall the experience was flawless and I would recommend Heartwood to my friends. We are very pleased with our bright, clean functional garage!

Nick has always been very available, reliable, professional, and easy to work with. Over the past three years I have asked Nick to do all kinds of repairs on my house, including creative projects like making a custom gate and repairing cracked crown moulding. I had Nick remove some old wood paneling and install sheetrock and molding to interface with existing walls and fireplace. He also painted the new sheetrock and molding to match existing walls.

Heartwood Residential did an awesome job remodeling our new/old home. He and his team took down walls, removed unsightly closets and created a beautiful entry way from our dining room to our living room. We now have as close to an open floor plan as you can get in a house built in the 80's without compromising the structure. They installed hard wood floors throughout our home and did all of our trim. The job was meticulous and our house looks beautiful! They were on time and super clean.
